Are you passionate about community building, creative content creation, and supporting students with special needs?
Join our volunteer program at the University of Pécs, where you can play a key role in fostering inclusive spaces both online and offline.
This unique opportunity combines event-focused communication with student-centered support, forming a bridge between university life, social engagement, and inclusive education.
Your Main Responsibilities
1. Community Engagement & Communication
- Create content for university sports and cultural events (photos, videos, interviews, stories).
- Promote the multicultural and inclusive aspects of student life.
- Contribute to social media campaigns targeting both Hungarian and international students.
- Participate in organizing and covering events that encourage active lifestyles and community spirit.
2. Inclusive Support & Office-Based Assistance
- Assist students with disabilities or special needs (mobility, orientation, learning support, daily tasks).
- Carry out basic office tasks (printing, scanning, emailing) to improve inclusive processes.
- Provide peer support for Hungarian and international students in English-taught programs.
- Help organize accessible community and leisure activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Empathy, openness, and a positive attitude toward others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in community building, inclusion, and intercultural understanding.
- Creativity in content creation (experience is a plus but not required).
- Reliability and willingness to participate in both in-person and online activities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
