The Support Service of University of Pécs has voluntary projects in each academic year. The Support Service for students with disabilities seeks to contribute to students with special needs to be able to fulfill their studies successfully, in order to reach the level of equal opportunities and independent living  in the society.

In 2016, the PTE symbolically laid the foundation stone of the Green University Program, which defined as its mission to encourage good practice, innovation and leadership in all aspects of sustainability and sustainable management, and to shape and strengthen ecological awareness through science and education. The University of Pécs is 23rd in the world ranking of "green universities" out of 1183 universities.
